How effective are you at completing your workload?  Answered honestly, this questionnaire will help you to understand how efficient you are at work and areas that you need to improve on.  For each of the questions, rate yourself out of 10, with 1 being the lowest, 5 being good or sometimes and 10 being excellent or always.  You can choose any number from 1 to 10 that honestly reflects your abilities.  Grab a piece of paper and write down your scores as you go.

  1. Rate the effectiveness of your time management skills.
  2. Rate your decision making skills.
  3. Rate your ability to understand what is going on in the organisation.
  4. Are you setting goals for yourself?
  5. Are tasks being managed effectively?
  6. Are effective communication strategies being used?
  7. Are emails used effectively?
  8. Are emails stored in an efficient manner so that they can be easily found?
  9. Are individuals contributing effectively to teams?
  10. Are team meetings scheduled when needed?

Now, tally up your score.

80-100 Your individual efficiency is excellent, there are areas that you can tweak to improve, but you are a great role model to your organisation where you work.  Be careful not to overdo the workload, as you are so efficient at work, you may have a tendency to take on more work than you may be able to handle.

50-79 Your individual efficiency is good and could do with some improvement.  You will have areas that you could improve on, so write them down on your paper and find some great tools on our membership site that can help you in those areas.

1-49 Your individual efficiency is below average and you may struggle to keep up with your work load.  How are you managing your stress?  Are you due for a holiday?  Are you in the right job that is suitable to your natural abilities?  Are you too hard on yourself and have you rated yourself harshly on the above questionnaire.  Ask someone else to fill in the questionnarie about you and see if the results differ.  There are tools on this website that can help you to improve and become more productive.
